Hi, I’m Alfred, the founder of Island Vision Surf. Let me tell you a little bit about us. I am originally from East Nusa Tenggara but I grew up in Bali. I got introduced to surfing at a young age when I was working on Kuta beach selling drinks and renting surfboards. Ever since surfing has been my whole life. In 2011 I became a certified lifeguard with a Bronze Medallion. Since then I have been working in many different surf schools and surf camps as a lifeguard and surf instructor.
Through surfing, I met many amazing people from all over the world. I was lucky enough to get invited to visit friends overseas who have now become my family. Travelling abroad definitely widened my horizon and gave me the inspiration to work on my own and establish Island Vision Surf.
Island Vision Surf is all about the surfer lifestyle by local Indonesian talent. We offer surf lessons, trips, and coaching as well as professional surf photography and filming around Bali and other islands in Indonesia.
For many of us on Bali beaches, surfing is everything. It’s how we have fun, destress and make a living as well. We want to share with you the experience of surfing and what it can bring to your life.
The name Island Vision Surf came from the idea of all these beautiful islands in Indonesia and what they can offer. We have waves everywhere and we are ready to share them with you. Come experience the surfer’s paradise and let us capture it for you. You make memories and we will capture them for you to keep forever!
In Indonesia, there are so many places that have not yet been discovered by tourists. Our aim is to help you to find more beautiful spots in Indo and at the same time help and work together with the locals in those areas. Island Vision Surf is not only about us but about the whole surfer community and everyone interacting with us.
