We are super excited to announce our first group surf trip of 2026! In March, Island Vision Surf is partnering with Adi, aka Sadi Shack, a Krui local, on our surf trip to his hometown in Tanjung Setia, Krui, Sumatra.
We are accommodating a small group of up to 8 intermediate surfers and spending a week together in this legendary surf destination. Expect surfing twice a day, fresh fish BBQs, chilling by the bonfire at the beach and being fully present with like-minded people. Join us for a week of jungle and surfer life in an authentic Indonesian surf destination in Krui, Sumatra, 6-13 of March 2026.

Our accommodation is located right in front of the ocean. You’ll wake up to the sound of the water, surf world-class uncrowded waves, and experience true island life surrounded by jungle, warm water, and friendly locals. No crowds, no distractions, just surfing, nature, and the rhythm of village life.

We will organise both airport pick-up and drop-off. The drive is six hours long, and we’ll be passing through a national park which is home to a lot of animals such as monkeys and tigers!
We also stop for local meals along the scenic 6-hour drive.

I have been surfing in Sumatra (my home town, Krui) since I was 7 years old. I surfed under a sponsorship when I was a teenager, but have later found a new passion in my life – coaching. I will be the head coach of your Krui surf trip, making sure you catch the waves of your life and improve on the way.
I’m excited to take you to my home town and show you the waves and vibes that I grew up with.

I will be the one behind the in-water lense on your trip to Krui, Sumatra. I do surf photography full time in Bali and am so excited to shoot in the wolrd class destination of Krui. I will make sure to capture your best waves so you have memories of them forever.
