Our qualified surf instructors and surf guides are all experienced and very good surfers. Our aim is to make your surfing experience fun and safe at all times. Most of our lessons take place in Batu Bolong beach in Canggu but if the conditions require it, we can take you to other spots around Bali. If you have never surfed before but want to try it out the private beginner surf lesson is perfect for you. Surfing is the most fun thing you can do on this planet! It is good for your health and good for your mindset. We think everyone should try surfing. If you have already tried surfing before and know the basics the private intermediate surf lesson is a good fit for you. You will jump in the water with our professional instructor who will help you to choose the right waves and feel more confident in the ocean.
If you are travelling with a group of friends or family of four or more and you want to try surfing together we offer our lessons at a discounted price of IDR 750k per person. If you want to book a surf lesson for kids aged 4-12 years, we are happy and experienced to take your kids surfing. For small kids we do tandem and older kids can go on their own surfboard. Let’s make some memories while surfing in Bali!
Do you feel like you know how to catch a wave, turn, and generate speed but you struggle to improve more? Say no more we will help you! When surfing we rely on the nature aka the ocean. The time of the surf lesson will depend on the tide, the swell and the wind, which can be different every day. We also take into consideration your ability and skills. That’s why we need to see the condition every day and agree on the time of the surf lesson a day before.
Our surf lessons include all required equipment (surf board, rash guard, leg rope and zinc). We go through some surf theory in the beginning of the lesson including ocean safety, paddling technique and pop up practice. Then you’ll spend a maximum of 2 hours in the ocean catching waves. We also include landscape photos and videos in the lesson price so you will have memories of your lesson forever.
Bring a swimsuit, sun screen, and a towel.
Bali has many beginner-friendly surf spots. Some of the most popular ones are Batu Bolong, Kuta Beach, Double Six, and Baby Padang.
Bali is a good destination for intermediate surfers. There are both left- and right-handers. Our favourite surf spots for intermediate surfers are Batu Bolong, Kedungu, Medewi, Nusa Dua, and Serangan.
You become a surfer when you jump in the ocean for the first time! However, it might take some time for you to feel fully confident with the waves and other people in the water. We recommend you to go with an instructor for 3-5 times. This is for you to always feel safe, understand the surf etiquette, and read the ocean traffic.
